Of course, before the game we had to head to a nearby Chick-fil-a for an early dinner.
We were excited to take Janna to her first baseball game. I wasn't sure how she'd do for the duration, but with Sara Beth and Lilly there I figured it'd help her last until the end. She really enjoyed herself. It helped the we had peanuts, Coke, and a pretzel at different points during the evening. By the end of the game she was pretty wound up and when the Cardinals won (sorry Braves) they shot off 'sprinklers' (fireworks), which got her going even more! On the way to the car and for the first 15-20 minutes of our drive home we heard non-stop chatter about the game and singing. Then suddenly...silence. :)
We definitely had a great time!
Bonus: All the loud cheering and chatter during the game had baby boy doing somersaults! Eddy got to see him moving from the outside. :)
