What are the odds of those little fingers finding those numbers, and pressing send, and having speaker phone on? Oh my.

Emergency?
If I haven't said it before, Janna LOVES phones. She's got about 3 old cell phones that she plays with and a toy phone as well. One of her "old" cell phones is still in working in order (in the sense that it's got a battery in it that can be charged so it lights up, no SIM card). The other night she was talking away, pressing buttons, you know, pretending to be like Mommy and Daddy, when I hear the phone ringing (she had even managed to put it on speaker phone). As I'm thinking to myself, "How is she calling on that??" Some one on the other end says, "911." My inner thoughts, "911! How did she call 911!? How can you even call on that phone!?" Thankfully, I was sitting next to her and was able to take the phone and say, "I'm sorry, my daughter called." To which the reply came, "There's no emergency?" I responded, "No, I'm sorry."

Oh my goodness. Stephen always tells me to be careful letting Jackson play with phone cause he could call. Wow. Janna is going to be smart one. Well, she already is.
I'm sure the 911 operators are used to it!
I think most newer phones are set up to dial an emergency number if you hold down one key (maybe the 9??) - and that works even when it's out of network or locked or no sim card or whatever. I've almost pocket dialed 911 a couple of times.
