This past weekend the local Knights of Columbus had their annual BBQ/Fair. I suppose it’s like a county fair, but on a much smaller scale. A handful of rides and games along with that delicious fair food that tastes great in it’s setting, but you wonder later how you could eat it any other time. Anyway, some friends from church (the Friyes) we’re playing and working at the event Friday night and invited us to join in on some fun with them. We decided it’d be fun to let Janna experience this unique atmosphere for the first time. We arrived with camera in hand and proceeded to the ticket booth. We tried to let the Friye boys take Janna through the “Fun House,” but she decided it wouldn’t be very fun without Mom or Dad. So we made our way to a helicopter ride that she could do with Daddy. That warmed her up to the “ride” concept quickly and she was ready for fun. Janna tried a couple other rides (mini bumper boats and mini bobcat train) and really had a blast.
