Weekend-o-Fun

This weekend was full of fun! Our great friends the Dampiers (Lacey and Grant) came to visit. They arrived Friday and we went straight to the Eldridge's (Rachel and Travis) for dinner, dessert, and Phase 10. We relocated back to our place so we could put Janna to bed and finish playing Phase 10...although, 6 people makes a long game and we had to put it on pause at 11:00! :D
Saturday we slept in (Janna included, YAY!) and enjoyed a late breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes with sausage. Mmmmm. Later, we headed up to County Market (a grocery store) for the Country Fair. They were having a contest to win a TV. You had to do a 'scavenger' hunt in their store in order to put in your entry for the TV. They also had a petting zoo, bounce house, pony ride, fire truck and police car on display, and other fun things. Might I add that all of those things were free! After a couple of fun-packed hours, we headed home to have hot dogs on the grill. Janna went down for a nap and we played Scrutinize. Jason and Charlyn stopped by for a bit to join us. We spent the rest of the evening hanging out, had a delicious dinner (Basalmic and garlic chicken with cheesy potatoes), and played some Dominoes. Church on Sunday, delicious steaks for lunch, and some more Dominoes ended our time with the Dampiers.

We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend! While Janna enjoyed the Fair, I think her favorite part of the weekend was having Heidi around (Grant and Lacey's dog). :)
