Spring has Sprung...and Retracted...and Re-Sprung...

...and retracted once more. Who knows how much longer that will keep happening! In my first year living in the midwest it was 40 degrees on my birthday (May 1). To say the temperature and weather have been in great flux the past month may be a slight understatement. We've worn short-sleeves, long-sleeves, shorts, coats, gloves, etc. This is the time of year when you need all of your clothes to be accessible because you never know what the day may bring.
Yesterday we enjoyed a summery day. It was breezy with temps reaching 91 degrees! We took advantage of the warmth by working in the yard and just enjoyed being outdoors. It was wonderful. Today is another story: crazy wind, coats back on, and 50 degrees. *Sigh* Such is the life of Midwestern Spring.
Just thought I'd share a few pictures from the past couple of weeks. I think you'll enjoy the last few most. Really puts the crazy midwestern Spring into perspective. :) Enjoy!

Enjoying the outdoors!

"A windmill!"

"Say cheese Daddy!"

Exploring.

Fun with sidewalk chalk eggs.

Wearing Mommy's coat.

91 degrees: It's hot, but maybe I should wear my hat and gloves in case the weather changes!

Ready to help cut the grass.

A perfect picture of Midwestern Spring. :)
