Two weeks ago we went on vacation to KY Lake. We loaded up the truck with bikes, suitcases, toys, hooked up Eddy's boat and headed for the water. We met Eddy's parents at Lighthouse Landing in Grand Rivers, KY for a week on the lake.
We had an enjoyable time riding bikes together, going for walks, getting in the lake, fishing, checking out the local "culture," as well as taking Janna to a water park.
Of course, vacationing with grandparents is an added bonus, because they are usually more than willing to spend a great amount of time with Janna (a nice little break for the parents). ;)
Eddy and I also got to have a date afternoon. We drove up to Paducah to eat Chick-fil-a for lunch and see Transformers.
