This busy little guy was in no mood for modesty and wanted us to be certain that he is a boy! However, to save him future embarrassment when he's a teenager I'm refraining from posting that picture.
The u/s tech asked us if we wanted to know what we're having, and it was one of the first things we saw. Then we went through a series of shots to get measurements, etc. Then she got some shots of cute things like feet and a side profile. Janna was pretty good considering she probably didn't recognized the baby features like we did. In fact, at the end the tech asked if she wanted to see her belly. She said, "There's not a baby in there, but we can look at your liver and see your heart beating." I think Janna was a little unsure at first, but she let the tech check her belly out, and I think she thought it was pretty neat. (She just said to me "It was my heart beat." I guess it made an impression). :)
Well, I think we were both a bit surprised to be honest. The differences in this pregnancy thus far led me to believe that it could be a boy. However, Eddy really thought it'd be a girl, Janna said it was a girl :), and considering the "no boys to MPCC staff in forever" I was starting to believe it'd be a girl too. Not to mention how much easier that could be (already have some experience with a girl, have the clothes, etc.).
Nonetheless, we are thrilled and excited. A new adventure for sure!

ahhhh!!! YAY YAY YAY! Congratulations! I'm so so so happy for you!
Having a boy is a blast! So far less dramatic and a bit chilled out. You'll adjust to it just like you did with Janna. How lucky we are to get one of each!
