One of the things I love about summer is the abundance of gardens. I love even more when people generously give away from their plethora of produce (especially to people like me who have yet to tackle the task of gardening)! Someone from church blessed us with a giant zucchini, which I thought would be perfect for making bread. The zucchini waited patiently on the counter for at least a week, and then bread making day finally arrived (or the timing finally worked out where Luke was napping and Janna and I would have enough time to go through the entire process). Janna really enjoys helping me bake. In fact, she was so thrilled that she ran down stairs to get her oven mitt, apron and chef's hat for the occassion. I decided to join in on the fun and put my apron on too. I found a
recipe from allrecipes.com that looked promising and we got down to business. Much to my delight it tasted A-mazing, and even Eddy proclaimed, "Why does it taste so good!?" Success: Delicious bread packed with 2 cups of vegetable goodness!
