Last March, one of Janna's friends had a dance-themed birthday party. Dancing and singing have always been things that Janna loves, but this party intensified her interest. Dancing at home began to have more twirling and spinning. For a while, Janna even talked about having her own "ballet" party. The desire for the specific party has since waned, but the interest in dance has not.
Every spring and fall our local park district sends out a magazine listing classes and activities they'll offer that season. Ballet and Tap were on the list! We asked Janna if she would like to take dance class and she responded with an enthusiastic "Yes!" 2 weeks ago she had her first class and is certainly enjoying herself.
