Janna's Christmas Concert

Last night was Janna's Preschool Christmas Concert. She has been beyond excited waiting for the evening to arrive. [She has a calendar in her room that we started using in the past couple months to mark with things special to her or to count down to special events.]
It's been fun to hear her sing Christmas songs over the past few weeks while she's playing.

MawMaw sent Janna a fancy Christmas dress, which Janna was thrilled to wear. We curled her hair and even did a little of Mommy's make-up.

At the concert, each class processed in and sang a couple of songs, interspersed with pictures of all the kids dressed up as nativity characters. They ended the concert with a story for the kids (The True Meaning of Christmas…i.e. Baby Jesus not Santa) and singing all together "Happy Birthday Jesus." Cookies and punch followed to finish off the evening. It was an enjoyable and special evening together!
