Saturday turned out to be a pretty good day. Janna still had a handful of accidents, but she really started getting the hang of sitting on the potty, and liking it I believe.
She had an accident earlier in the morning and we'd taken several trips to the potty with no results. We were debating whether to venture out to the store about noon (occasionally we like to go to Sam's Club on saturdays to browse and eat a cheap lunch out). We decided to go for it. We tried on last potty trip (no results) and headed out. As soon as we got to Sam's we tried again (no results). We enjoyed some pizza and then Eddy took her. Success!! After that we could truly relax and enjoy our browsing trip. :)
Janna used the potty two more times Saturday.
All-in-all, a pretty good day for PT.
I had originally planned to blog about PT for 3 days, but day 4 was so great, for a few reasons, that I had to share.
Day 4 fell on Sunday. Sundays are usually pretty full and busy for us. So we woke debating whether to put a pause on PT for church and just do a diaper while we were there to make it a little easier on us.
I think we both wanted to move forward with Janna, but knowing how full Sundays are had us a bit hesitant. At the last minute we decided to see how she'd do with 'big girl' underwear.
We went to the potty before leaving for church and Janna was successful!
We arrive pretty early to church and I was working up in the booth (running Pro Presenter), so the job was pretty much up to Eddy.
After church he told me that she had a small accident, but used the potty 2 times before church started. He also said she was taken to the potty once during class and went. I took her to the potty before we left church and she went again! Yay!
We went out to lunch and she did great, I believe she used the potty while we were there too.
I think she used the potty about seven times yesterday! We are well on the way. She had a couple accidents this morning, but I know those are to be expected for a while still (especially since we've only been successful with pee in the potty so far). ;)
Anyway, we're excited that Janna is doing so well, and we're excited about the money we'll be saving on diapers. :)
