Well, it's certainly been a while since my last post. Thought I'd better get on here and tell a story or two and throw some pictures up or something! A week ago Janna and I made the 12 hour drive south to AL and GA. We enjoyed seeing family and getting reacquainted with my old Girl Scout Troop. It was a quick trip, but still enjoyable. We arrived home in time for Eddy and I to celebrate our 8th anniversary (May 24th). Seems crazy to say we've been married that long. We enjoyed lunch at Fuji (with Janna), and then had a few hours in the evening to ourselves to go get some dessert (thanks Friyes!). This weekend we spent most of our time in the yard, in between all the rain showers. We've really been working hard this spring on getting some landscaping done. We even talked the Eldridges into coming over to help us Sunday afternoon. I will have to take some pictures and put them up, but we've still got a couple projects in the works. Yesterday we did a bit more yard work and then drove over to Camp Point to spend the evening with the Nalls. Gary did some fine smoking on the grill (We had pork loin, corn, salad, potatoes, lemonade, and sweet tea...well Gary drank most the sweet tea.), Janna and Brendan enjoyed playing together, and we made a special trip for some delicious ice cream! I'd say we had a pretty enjoyable past week and a half.
