Janna's Fourth!

On December 31st Janna turned 4! This past year has seemed to hold the biggest growth and transition. I suppose that is in part because we moved and it certainly rocked her little world. Anyhow, here are some facts about Janna at age 4:

*Her favorite color is green: particularly of a lime shade.
*She loves zebras! The animal, the print. This is a bit  humorous. She received a zebra pillow pet from
  her Great Aunt Carol last Christmas, has become rather attached to it and interested in all things zebra.
*She loves princesses. Cinderella is her favorite, but she has begun to show equal interest in others
  now.
*She loves playing with cars. Cars have been some of her favorite toys over the past year. I'd say she
  has played with them more than anything else.
*She loves the outdoors. Being stuck inside this winter has probably been something short of torture for
  her. She constantly talks about "when it gets warm again we can go to the playground and the dumper
  place (pool and kid's water play area)."
*She knows her numbers, letters, and shapes very well.
*She can write her name, as well as "Mommy," "Daddy," and "Luke" without needing help to spell
  them. She can write many other letters as well.
*In relation to the above two items: she loves learning!
*She still loves reading very much.
*She has a high octane level of energy that is both special and unique, as well as challenging for Mom
  & Dad!
*She loves to talk and be around other people, but she also plays very well on her own.

On Friday, December 28th we celebrated Janna's birthday. She had several friends over for pizza, presents, cupcakes, and playing. This year was really fun because she was more involved in deciding who she wanted to invite to her party, and had great excitement leading up to the party. As well as at the arrival of her friends and being able to play with several friends at her house all at once.

We sure had a fun night with Janna! We love our sweet girl!
