Memorial Day

We had a wonderful, relaxing Memorial Day Weekend. Saturday we got up and went for a bike ride. We stopped at the Beddalls and the Nelsons where Janna got to play a bit with some friends. Sunday was church and grass cutting (relaxing for Eddy??). :) Monday, we were invited to the Friye's for an afternoon of swimming and burgers on the grill for dinner. We arrived about 1:00 and put Janna down for a nap. This was nice for Mom and Dad because we were able to relax poolside for a few hours while Janna slept. Then we brought Janna out to the pool. She was not super excited about getting in the pool at first, which we thought weird since she LOVES playing in the tub. We soon discovered that having nothing under her feet was more the issue. Once she was standing on our knees she seemed to do better. However, I believe she had more fun playing with the other kids, pushing a cozy coupe around the pool (many laps of this!), and playing with Maggie (the Friye's dog). We enjoyed burgers, grilled fish (caught that morning by the Friye boys!), veggies, fruit, and cookie cake for dinner. It was a very enjoyable day of fun and fellowship!
