We really enjoyed our lengthy trip visiting family, but as always it's good to come home.
Here's the wrap-up of our trip:
Tuesday began our vacation with Eddy, and we spent a relaxing day at the lake house. In the afternoon, Eddy really wanted to watch Janna play outside with/in some water. Luckily, Janna's Island Oasis made it's way to my parent's house, so it was a great way for us to watch Janna play.

Wednesday was a GREAT day. Janna spent the day with Gigi, while Eddy and I escaped to ATL for a date! We drove over to Fayetteville and ate Wings-n-Things for dinner (one of our favorite places) and then headed downtown to catch a Braves game (They won!). We got back late that night about the same time my sister arrived from California!
Thursday and Friday were spent playing outside with Janna, laying out in the sun (Melissa and me), riding the jet ski, and riding around on the boat.
Saturday Eddy's parents came out for a "Fourth" celebration. More playing, sunning, boating, tubing, and a delicious lunch of southern BBQ. That evening we took the boat out to watch some fireworks. I wasn't too sure what Janna would think of fireworks. I even supposed they might startle her a bit, but she was enthralled (at least with the first 10 minutes). She'd say "oooo" and clap for them. Pretty cute.

On the actual Fourth we all got up and went to my parent's church (Mom, Dad, Liss, Eddy, Me, Janna, Jason & Charlyn - who arrived late Sat. night). It was fun to all be together, and as many families do on such gathered occasions, we snapped some group shots. My Dad has all these so unfortunately you won't see those in this post. Anyway, we did more relaxing, sunning, swimming, playing, and had a delicious dinner of homemade tacos! Mmmmm, a family favorite.
