A Warm Southern Christmas

This year we spent Christmas in GA with Eddy's parents. We had our first full day with them on Christmas Eve. It was a low-key day, playing with the kids, venturing outside (low 50's-a welcome change from the 20's in the Midwest), making snacks for the evening and prepping dishes for Christmas Day. We ended the evening with a candlelight service at Eddy's parents church.

Of course, the kids were up and ready to go on Christmas morning. We grabbed a light breakfast and then listened to Eddy read the Christmas story from the Bible. We then headed downstairs to the tree and awaiting presents. To say the kids were thrilled and excited would definitely be an understatement! We like to take turns opening gifts, so we passed around presents and enjoyed each other's expressions as the wrapping paper flew.

Excited about her new calendar.

MawMaw and PawPaw took the kids to Lake Lanier the day after Christmas to see the lights and check out the carnival there. Based on some pics and videos they sent us, as well as a FaceTime call, it's safe to say they had a blast.

Saturday, Michelle and Robin came up from FL and we did some more celebrating. We also got to see the Harbin's and baby Ty!
