Mr. Luke is 2!

Today is Luke's 2nd birthday (Technically he will not be 2 until 10:02pm)! Can't believe our little guy is already 2. 

His speech has really taken off the last few months, and he certainly enjoyed repeating new words. Some things are still a challenge to figure out, but we are communicating quite well with him. 

He is a typical boy in his love for all things transportation: cars, planes, trains, boats, tractors. Those are the toys you'll usually find in his hands. He does enjoy grabbing some of Janna's toys, particularly her stroller and shopping cart, but you can rest assured that they are filled with modes of transportation, and of course his beloved "car-car" (Cars cup of milk). He might also have a love for Janna's shoes. You might find him sporting them around the house or chewing on them. :)

Eddy really spent some time reading to Luke each night and helped incorporate a love for books in Luke. He always seems to be bringing us a book and exclaiming "Read, read!"

Luke is still a great sleeper and still takes 2-3 hour naps each afternoon. A blessing considering Janna was down to 45 min. to an hour at this point and gave up naps not long after!

His favorite things to eat are bread, cheese, bacon, spaghetti, pizza, and of course, Chick-fil-A.

He has gotten plenty of experience with snow this year, and seems to tolerate it pretty well. I imagine he'll be as gung-ho as Janna next winter.

We celebrated Luke today with just our family. Bacon on the breakfast menu, cookies after lunch, presents, and he'll be enjoying some CFA for dinner.
